After her sister Clara has had enough, she decides to move back to their hometown with their brother Marshall in hopes that it will help Sierra. There Sierra finds Rayne, her temperamental mate with anger issues and a bad history. Just as much as she's curious about him, he's curious about her. So here begins the journey of Sierra and Rayne both trying to figure each other out and get to know each other.
