Following the events of The Pebble and the Penguin, and surviving from his demise, Drake (voiced by Tim Curry) is forced to flee deeper into Antarctica and create a new base. Teaming up with unlikely allies while keeping his minions, he strives for a better opportunity to find someone else. And he gets his chance when a plane crashed in the Antarctic Circle, rescuing a young woman at the age of nineteen and falls in love with her. Now forcing himself to marry the girl, Drake is convinced that she is the one, yet someone else is also after her, but not for any romantic relationship: a leopard seal who wants to break them up and have the woman becoming his wife.
