What would you do, if one moment, you were living a life no one would ever want to hear about, in a town no one had ever heard of, and then the next; you were living the high life, travelling around the globe with the world’s hottest band?

It’s the kind of stuff teenage girl fantasies are made of, but what happens when it becomes a reality? Avery always wanted to be different … I guess she should have specified exactly how different she wanted things to be, because this kind of different might just be a little too much for her.

Seventeen and blowing out her birthday candles, Avery’s life goes from nonexistent to weird and weirder over night, when she wakes up to find boy band ‘Chronic’ in her dining room. If she thought things couldn’t get any stranger Colton Prescott, the bands lead singer, is supposedly her boyfriend.

The only people who didn’t seem to know this were her and Colton.

                  "Avery" Colton whispered.

"How long are we going to live like this? How long are we going to stay in the dark for? We walk around every day, playing the part that was given to us by who knows what, pretending to be something we aren’t; lying to the people we care about most. And it hurts. Its hurts to do that"

They seem to have the same problem; waking up to find their world has been flipped upside down and no one will believe them. No choice but to pretend, they realise there is reason neither of them are actors.

Heads will clash and the truth will become known but will any good come of any of it?

"Change. It was all I ever wanted. And now here it was, holding my hand, begging me to come away with it. How could I say no? If I did, I would always wonder, what if? And I don’t think I could ever live with myself ...

                  ... I don’t think I could live with a what if?"

"Wanted to be bold." I blush while I avoid eye contact. "Devin needed to borrow clothes for gym." I stare at my bare legs. "I should've told her no." He shrugs, biting into his sub. "Not a fan of exposing the body." I nibble on my burrito. "I just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea." I tuck my hair behind my ear. "That you're easy." My face reddens as I look at him in the corner of my eyes. After a few moments, I nod. He sighs. "The only thing that makes a girl easy is if she lets every and any guy inside." He runs his fingers through his hair. "Clothes or attitude has nothing to do with it." I trace a circle on my thigh. "And a guy that believes otherwise is either a dick or a rapist." I smile. "Avery." "Ava." "Your brain works in wonderful ways." I get more comfortable and lean on his shoulder. "So you've said." I giggle. "I'm glad to share the same name as you." ~ A girl, a perfectionist, named Avery Jones has been in love with her childhood friend's brother for as long as she can remember. He's never noticed her, though, he doesn't really notice anyone. He's sort of an insouciant philanderer. They couldn't be any different, the only thing that connects them is their names. Oh, by the way, his name is also Avery Jones; no relation. As crazy as it might sound, it's true. Anyway, it isn't until she becomes his mentor that he finally sees her. But will this new circumstance spark a connection or show just how different they are?

BOOK 1 (book two out now!) i'm danielle quinn and i'm an emo teen in 2002, and this is how my band formed, it was a load to take in especially being a teen that struggles with mental health problems and getting bullied by the worst kind of girls ever, being a teen sucks. also im deeply in love with the guitarist of my band, jack barakat, we keep going back and fourth. jack extends a hand to me as we walk to the club, because he wants to hold hands. "oh??" we lace our fingers together. i dig through my tiny bag to find my camera, i wanted to videotape this, we were walking between a bunch of quiet houses at night, and the ally wasnt that well lit. "its recordingg!! guys im danielle and we are at a beach house for a couple of days, this is my number one boy jack" i direct the camera towards him then to our hands. "HEY WHAT ABOUT ME I THOUGHT I WAS YOUR NUMBER ONE" alex yells from behind us, i pan the camera to his direction. "i'm sorry lex, and this is alex my number two boy" i say to infuriate him. "COME ONNNN YOU HAVE BEEN BULLYING ME NONSTOP THIS TRIP" he yells and sabrina attempts to comfort him, everyone else laughs as we walk. "this is sabrina, my best girl, shes looking real hot tonight" i say and mike whistles. "this is our single alcoholic drummer and he is a ladies man, he probably has weed on him this very moment" i pan the camera to mike. "thats true, thats very true" he laughs. "and this is himeeeeeeeeeeee, my papa and our bassist, he makes some bomb ass food, m'compadre" i pan the camera to his face and he bows down "thank you thank you" i turn the camera to my face hoping its not capturing me at an ugly angle "okay guys this is it for today, we are heading to a strip bar together. "mhmmm yes bonding activityyyy" jack moans and he earns an instant smack from sabrina. "yep, bunch of horny motherfuckers" i end the video and i shove the camera back in my bag. • will we make it far to touring? will we make it out of 505?

Dear Rory, I'm sorry about what I said. I'm leaving for LA in two days. Can we talk before then, please? We can just drive around as usual. I don't know how to do this if you're upset with me. Call me please. I'm staying at my parents' house. Love, Taylor *** Aurora Taylor has been living her best life for the past ten years or so. She works for Odyssey, a travel magazine based in New York City, New York, where she gets to go on dozens of trips a year to the most beautiful corners on earth to write articles about her journey. When she's not travelling, she also dabbles in fiction writing, a little secret passion of hers only few people know about. When the pressure of her two jobs gets a little too hard to manage, she decided to take a week off in a beautiful town at the beach in Northern Italy. A week full of unadulterated fun and relaxation, with unlimited glasses of chilled Prosecco and gelato cones. Or, so she thought. Her plans are completely ruined when she runs into someone she never thought she would ever see again. Not in person at least. A ghost from her past. Taylor Swift. Thirteen years and the universe decides to throw them together in a random town in Italy. Taylor does not believe that it is a coincidence. Aurora is a little reluctant to believe it. But thirteen years is a hard number for Taylor to ignore and she is adamant on making things right with the writer who finds it hard to forgive and forget all that was said and done thirteen years ago. *** This story is entirely my work of fiction. All characters and fictional places are from my own imagination except for real celebrities. The timeline is not necessarily a hundred percent accurate to Taylor's for the sake of the story and for it to make sense. I hope you enjoy it!
