The elemental wyverns have lived on the island for centuries, with each element in contrast with each other. But as the elements slowly collapse and as each wyvern falters, a small, thought to be extinct Water wyvern hatchling plays cat-and-mouse with the leaders of each element also known as The Majors, as he tries to find the truth.

White lies, secret memories and forbidden knowledge lurk on the island all behind closed palace doors, out of whispering mouths of other wyverns, and by scattered clues of the past. The elemental wyverns are desperate for answers as they stand, split.

The hatchling is born alone, thought to be dangerous and the rest of his species dead. As the small wyvern learns of his past and the true extent of what his powers can do, a mysterious threat comes to the shore through the sea mist that reeks of blood and revenge, and is coming for him and the island. All the while he and his unexpected friends make a foul discovery that might finally make the elements crumble.

'The largest egg in mountain high, will give to you the wings of sky.' We all know how the SkyWing egg was lost right? Well, in this world, what if the SkyWing egg didn't shatter? What if the dragonet inside it actually survived? What if the SkyWing was hidden in a deep pit with only a sick IceWing guardian to take care of? After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined... Disclaimer: I do not own any of these characters from the best book series in the world, they are the characters of the great and magnificent Tui T. Sutherland. The only characters I own are my OCs. P.S I give full credit to my awesome fanfiction writer friend for coming up with this fanfiction and credit to Book-dragon-Wof who helped with ideas.
