I have known the Bridgertons for most my life. Daphne is my best friend and the closest to a sister I will ever have. Being the only child isn't just lonely. It's a constant reminded of the future I will have if something were to happen to my father, and if I ever try to forget, my mother will be there to make sure I remember.
Then there is Lord Bridgerton-- Anthony...I have loved him for as long as I have known what love was. He makes my heart pound and my knees unsteady. One moment of weakness made it easier to believe he could love back, but my mother isn't going to wait for him to maybe ask for my hand.
