For Those in Peril: Voices from the Titanic

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐊𝐍𝐎𝐖𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐓𝐈𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐂, the most famous maritime vessel to ever grace the Atlantic Ocean. She was allegedly proclaimed to be "almost unsinkable", and touted as the greatest innovation of the Edwardian Age. To this day, her story - passed down for generations - serves as a cautionary tale in various fashions. When one considers the matter of maritime disasters, the sinking of the RMS Titanic is the first to escape their lips. But will we ever really know what precisely occurred on that tragic night?

The answer to such a question is, unfortunately, no - but that does not mean that speculation cannot occur.

Published here for the first time at long last is a series of vignettes offering glimpses into the Titanic's birth, life, and death. Told through the perspectives of some of the most famous individuals aboard this notorious ship, these vignettes were penned with the intention of conceptualizing a plausible definition of the specifics which will forever remain unknown.

It is my hope that these vignettes will bring their subjects back to life through the written word, and render them human to us once more.
