The two siblings were struggling to put food on the table and dealing with DCS, the teens didn't know what to do.
Thinking life could end within a snap of a finger, the girl chose to be wreckless, to do everything she's always wanted to do, including fall for her brothers best friend.

it's a no brainer
takes place after the events of season 1 (edit: I wrote this way before season 2 or 3 came out so yuh) It's been a month since John B and Sarah have been pronounced dead. No bodies were found which gives them the smallest sliver of hope. But hope of what? That their friends somehow survived that deadly storm? That their bodies are still floating around somewhere in the Pacific? There is no hope anymore. John B, their best friend, is dead. There's nothing more to it. He's dead and so is Sarah. Coming to terms with this has been one of the hardest and single most heartbreaking thing any of the pogues have had to deal with.
