Remus Lupin was married.
Not many people knew.
Why?
Because Remus is a werewolf and the ministry would have taken his wife and daughter away from him
Remus shuts down whenever the murder of Natalia Romanova is bought up.
You see Natalia was a Russian pureblood witch who had moved to England when she was 10
Natalia and Remus met on the Hogwarts express at 11
They began to date at 15 and married at 17 as soon as they graduated
Natalia told him she once had a sister Svetlana but hadn't seen her since she was three
In 1980 when Remus and Natalia were 18 their daughter Emily was born.
It was 1983 that made Remus shut down, 1983 when he, Sirius and Lily went back to the Lupin's house that they found the body of Natalia Lupin, 1983 when Remus's wife was murdered and his daughter abducted.
Each year on the 12th of December Natalia is remembered by the wizarding world for being one of the best aurors there was.
Remus shuts down, betrays nothing but inside he is a broken man.
What happens when he meets his now grown up daughter Emily and the people she calls her family?
Will he approve of who she loves?
Maybe, but he knows she doesn't need his approval it is his friends he's worried about.

How will Emily react to finding out she has a father and that her mother was murdered?
