A Rose For An Enemy

I spent my life travelling from place to place. Picking up jobs here and there where I would hunt down, steal, capture or kill anyone and anything...if it meant coin was involved.

I had isolated myself from all people. Not wanting to create connections with people. Connections mean weakness. Weakness means death. There was already one person that had put me in more danger than any job I took.

I was on no side of the war that was fought between the north and south. And never planned on it. Elves or humans. They were all the same to me.

If they had a job, I'd take it. If they were my job, I'd take it.

Then a man came along. But he wasn't a man was he?...he was a Witcher.
