Y/n had gotten too close to a chimps cage and the monkey grabbed them by their shirt, and almost pulled them into the enclosure but their dad had taken their place and died from blood loss. y/n on the other hand had only needed a prosthetic eye and they preferred to get a mask due to half of their face being scratched off my the chimps nails. So they went to live with their mom, but their moms crazy ex would not stop stalking and following their mom so they moved. Their moms ex didn't follow so they ended up staying in their new home, or should I say apartment, Addisons apartments to be more exact.
