The Forgotten Kings Second Life

Alaric a "king" among men or so those around him claim is a warrior born on the battlefields of Earth, a soldier as long as he can remember Alaric long forgot what he is even fighting for. One day after another campaign Alaric returns to his quarters alone and feeling heavier than normal. Alaric lies down in his bed to sleep of the heavy feeling only to find himself in a dark soundless place, in all the darkness all Alaric can see is a small light like the light of a firefly. Alaric follows the light as it appears to be leading him somewhere like the old legends of the will'o'wisp. After what feels like hours the light stops and engulfs alaric and the next thing he hears.
