It all started when Finney was younger. He was kidnapped by a group of scientists as part of a research project. He was subjected to painful experiments to try and give him super powers. Eventually, he managed to break free- but he had been permanently changed by the experience. The experiments gave him wings, and the ability to see into the future- but they also left him permanently traumatized
