I've had this story idea for quite some time but kept on procrastinating on making a stable plot 🤣, but don't get me wrong, I still haven't made a stable plot, but I just decided to continue with the little inspiration I have and see where it'll take me.... no... take us.... right?, so do me a favor, read, vote and comment!!! 💕



SYNOPSIS:
In this modern world, shadows are believed to be the protectors of society. However, not all shadows are good or bad - just like humans, some are kind and some are evil. Whether or not you'll be protected depends on your Shadow's willingness. At the age of 18, a person's shadow will graduate and become an independent human, separate from its owner. The Paranormal Shadow Association provides funds for these newly independent shadows to attend college and pursue their own careers.

Xie Lian is about to turn 18 and is excited about the graduation of his shadow, Hua Cheng. However, Hua Cheng has different plans. He is determined to build a successful career. As Xie Lian navigates the challenges of high school and prepares for the future, he must confront the possibility of losing Hua Cheng forever.

The dialogues are partly 1:1 from the book but with additional thoughts of Hua Cheng. This changes of course his character as he isn't as calm as he appears from Xie Lian's perspective. He is overthinking, is overwhelmed by his feelings sometimes and fangirling quite a lot. I mean...come on he is in love with his crush for so many years. And he also has some fantasies. So there will be some smut, but nothing too explicit. And no, I will not make him a pervert, he is not doing it with the statues.

A good friend asked me to write a story in which some aspects of his life appear.
