A son, his father and his grandmother lives in an old cabin deep in a forest surrounded by mountains. Alan, the son, had to do things around the house when his father leaves for hunting including taking care of his grandmother who is bedridden. Ever since he was a young boy, he watches his father make a circle around the house using chalk. But out of the blue, when he turned twenty, his father asked him to use crushed crystals instead of chalk and specifically told him to be safe.
