Avery Hunter lives in a world where being a fan of metal and rock music is classed as a felony. Anyone who is found to have a love for this kind of music are placed into these camps, where everyone lives as a society contained within boundaries. There is no way in and there's no way out, and the rules have been thrown completely upside down.
It's been a year since the start of the Revolution, and Avery has settled into her new life in a camp somewhere in California. She has a job, she has an apartment, and she has a best friend, who also just happens to be none other than Avenged Sevenfold's lead guitarist, Synyster Gates.
But thing's aren't going so well for Avenged Sevenfold, as they'd just broke past the small band barrier when the new law had come in and now they're all struggling to find their footing in a world that's become cold with judgement.
And, just when everything looks as if it will be on the up, an unfriendly face emerges from Avery's past, threatening to destroy every piece of happiness she's earned.
Wanting nothing more than to see that face gone, Avery forces herself to battle against her demons, and fight for the people she loves and trusts. But actions always have consequences, and they're not always good ones.
Blake has been going through some rough times so her friends decide to take her out on the town where she meets Synyster Gates from the famous band Avenged Sevenfold. That night they make the biggest mistake of their lives, Syn was already a jerk to her once, with the help of The Rev (Jimmy Sullivan) will Blake and Brian (Synyster Gates) ever be able to work things out?
