Erine was just a child when she met Kaz Brekker. She was to young to know exactly what it meant to be a crow, but never the less she was one. The Barrel of Ketterdam knew her as the Panther, lurking in the dark waiting to pounce on her prey, and just like any cat Erine was fiercely loyal. Dirtyhands never needed a reason, not when it came to his panther.
But is loyalty always the answer? even when it comes between her 'Dirtyhands' and the saints?

She was no normal Inferni, however, and struggled learning control, so instead, she became the best swordsman the palace had ever seen. Just when things started going well for her, she learned some terrible news about the Darkling, and was told to flee. She escaped, managing to find herself far away in Ketterdam, where she was forced to learn to fight for her life and to fend for herself.
