Horror: The Echoes In Forest

"The Echoes in the Forest" is a horror story about a group of hikers who decide to explore a small abandoned village deep in the forest, despite warnings of an evil spirit that drove the villagers away. As they approach the village, they begin to hear faint whispers that grow louder when they enter one of the houses, where they find an old, rusty gramophone playing a distorted tune. Suddenly, the gramophone bursts into flames, and they run out of the house, only to be met by a dense fog that surrounds them. The whispers become louder and more urgent, and they feel as though they are being hunted by an unseen presence. Despite their attempts to run, they are unable to escape, and in the end, only one of the hikers survives. The survivor never speaks of what happened in the forest, but they can still hear the echoes of the whispers in their dreams and feel a chill run down their spine every time they hear the sound of a gramophone, knowing that the spirits of the villagers are still there, waiting to be awakened.
