The rebellious Kelsi Langton has always been strong. Being a young vampire at the age of 16 can be hard when you are expected to grow to be one of the best fighters. Here at The Castle of Nights are 2 types of vamps.
1. The Evenities= these so happens to be the best vampires. They are stronger, and stealthier. They are most likely expected to be the ones set off to fight the biggest battles.
2. The Arcinders = these vamps are known to be faster and then the Evenities. They all seem to have the same petite shape. They are also expected to fight, but under the Evenities. Almost like a side kick. Once they graduate, they have the choice to fight, or blend in with human world and make a living.
The ones who choose to make a living in the human world are frowned upon and laughed at.
Humans know about them. Some chose to shun them and wants nothing to do with them, while others invite them in with opened arms.
Kelsi happens to be an Arcinder, but one of the best. She puts most Evenities to shame. Coming from a long line of Arcinders, it wasn’t to be expected. Is it because her mom was an Evenitie and her dad was an Arcinder?
One day, when the Castle is in trouble, Kelsi may be only one to save it, but giving all the reality checks she can take, she may not be able to.....
Ari and Soren's adventures continue as Soren struggles with his new vampiric urges and a coven of witches attempts to recruit Ari for their own ends.
*****
As dark dreams plague Soren, Ari finds his new abilities difficult to control. Something is awakening within him, and as his power grows, he attracts the attention of a group of witches who call themselves the Hecataeon. They believe Ari is an emanation of the goddess Hecate - a physical manifestation of her power - and they want that power for themselves. With their relationship facing challenges from within, Ari and Soren must find a way to unite their strengths before external forces tear them apart.
