The Woman In The Flower Field

Okay so, the meaning behind the story is kind of sad. So basically, Evelyn had cancer and she had a very difficult time trying to beat it because of her complicated medical issues. Unfortunately, her cancer got the best of her and she sadly passed away. And she was only 6-years-old. So, this story takes place in heaven. Evelyn is basically walking up the stairs of heaven but it's disguising itself in a way that can connect with Evelyn.

So, Evelyn is walking up the stairs of heaven but instead of reliving her life, it's putting her in a dream sequence of the things that she loved. Her mom, outside, daisies, butterflies, etc. And the dream made a version of herself when she is older. If she fraught off the cancer. So Evelyn is seeing her older self if she were able to make it. And that's the reason why Daisy said: "You know, you remind me a lot of myself.. when I was younger." Because that's her! Evelyn is having a conversation with her older self! And the reason why her older self was named Daisy is because that's the thing that Eve loved so much in her life. DAISIES! And, since Evelyn is walking up the stairs to heaven and she's in this dream like state, she didn't die yet. In the hospital, the doctors are trying to bring Eve back to life. And her older self is trying to led Eve into heaven "where she belongs". But Eve is the one trying to save herself from dying. And that part where Eve is telling herself to not follow the voice and listen to her mom, that is Eve trying to save herself from dying. So, it's up to Eve.. Would she take Daisy's hand, or would she refuse?

And that's why Daisy had such a nice presence to be around, so Eve could feel safe and comfortable to take her hand. And that last part where everything is floating off of the earth and everything looks like an abyss, that's when Eve is on the edge of life and death.
