A relationship that continued to spiral through the years as a mother makes a new life but seems to have somewhat abandoned her first.
Left behind by her mother, Scarlett, as she divorces your dad when you're only 6 years old. Life only seems to pass by as days, months and years all wrap into one. It isn't until she makes a new family with another man does she really seem to have pulled away from her first child.
JJ lands herself in a position where she is stuck with the mother, she feels as though abandoned her when she was younger. a mother she hides from her friends as she never thought the woman deserved the right to that title.
Is Scarlett able to rekindle what she broke? is JJ willing to forgive her mother after everything that has happened between them?
Life just doesn't seem to stop for JJ as she finds herself on a crazy adventure.

She feels as if her career has recently taken her away from experiencing what life has to offer, other than just a successful career. Lila Bradley, a struggling 16 year old girl who's dealing with a lot inside her own head as well as hard times with friends and family. She recently just moved in with her friend who's a few years older than her and is trying to live independently as best as she can. Lila begins skipping lessons and becoming known quite quickly for the wrong reasons. She quickly gets referred to Scarlett's counselling sessions and assistance in lessons. This referral does nothing but annoy Lila more, who then decides she will try and make Scarlett's life harder to cope with her own. Little does she know, Scarlett is known to be stubborn, calculated and very good with confrontation. What will happen when they're forced to be around each other nearly every day?
