Enya has always been a social butterfly, making friends wherever her diplomat parents took her. But when her family moves to Jordan, everything changes. She feels isolated and disconnected from her heritage, struggling to adjust to her new life in a (not-so) foreign land.

At school, Enya meets a magnetic girl and finds herself falling head over heels in love for the first time. But their blossoming relationship is met with opposition from some members of their host country community, putting Enya's newfound happiness at risk.

As she navigates her complicated love life, Enya becomes increasingly involved in local activism and social justice causes. When she learns of new laws that would restrict access to education for girls and women and limit the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals, Enya becomes a leader in the fight against discrimination.

Despite her struggles with anxiety and the risks involved, Enya is determined to make a difference. Her activism gains national attention and support from allies around the world. But as the stakes get higher, Enya must navigate the complexities of family, diplomacy and school life to achieve her goals.

Will Enya and her allies succeed in their fight for justice, or will the forces of discrimination and hate win out? Follow Enya on her journey of self-discovery, activism, and first love in this gripping and inspiring tale of courage and perseverance.

When the man who chooses her turns out to be cruel and abusive, there is nothing she can do to leave the violent relationship. As is the law in Grayson, she is bound to her husband until death. Feeling trapped and alone in her marriage, Mia finds comfort in her house servant, Ruby. As they grow close, a forbidden love blossoms. Mia wants to flee her marriage and be with Ruby, but fear holds her back. If the government found out about her prohibited relationship, she and Ruby would be sentenced to death. She wants to find happiness, but not at such a high cost. Mia embarks on a journey of romance, betrayal, and rebellion as she tries to find her voice in a place where women were meant to be silent. © Dawn Norwell "Though I'd spent my entire life denying it, I could no longer live a lie. I didn't love my husband. I could never love him. After repressing it for so long, I finally accepted that I was gay. I had always been gay. And no number of threats or scare tactics from the government would change the fact that I would always be gay." _______________________________________________________________________________ "Horribly fascinating!" "Wow, this is so chilling. I can't wait to read more!" "There are ways in which the real world has treated women and homosexuals that mirrors what is happening here. I find it disgusting, intolerable - and that means stories like this need to exist." "This does a great job showing some seriously underrepresented issues in the world :)" #1 in future fantasy 2nd place in The Black and Gold Leaf Awards 3rd place in The Creativity Awards Warning- This story contains domestic violence and sexual assault.

17-year-old Abigail Wells, known as Abbie, is shipped off to live with her estranged mother. The same woman whom Abbie has not seen since she was about three years old. Abbie's dad, Keith, is not a good guy and hates her passionately. Her home life was not good growing up yet he was the only parent she has ever known. Her only constant. Adeline Cobwell, Abbie's mother, lives in a small town, Reef's Paradise located in Florida. As the name indicates, the town is sort of a paradise for people residing there. Hidden alcove of a town, separated from busy cities surrounding it. The local saying, 'once you are here, you never want to leave,' is something all townsfolk here adhere to. Just like any other small town, Reef's Paradise has its own stories and secrets. Most of such stories are known to all the residents but unknown to the newcomer, Abbie. One such intriguing story is about the Light House, located at the far end of the town on a deserted beach. There is something about the stories, and the Light House itself that attracts Abbie even before she finds out a secret, hiding in it. This is a story about Abbie's journey to self-discovery, to learn what love and care truly mean. Being a teenager is not easy nor is peeling off layers of masks, especially when you have them on for so long. When anger is the only emotion Abbie's known to express for so long things are bound to explode. This is my first story here. Comments and feedback are appreciated. "I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. When one of her friend's invites the group to join her and her mom to go on a summer vacation to Greece, they decide to go. In Greece, Tinsley meets another guy on vacation named Caleb Reed. On her first day of junior year, she was having a typical normal day, until she coincidentally sees Caleb at school. Manuel has no clue what happened in Greece, and she definitely doesn't want him to find out, even though they were broken up at the time. Will she be able to keep that a secret?
