By whose design determined
By james a. galgano
Heavens hallow descends upon tearing eyes caught within their loneliness.
Unable to confess to eyes never met and obviously unable to relate such reality.
What might have been once upon a time but now in the passing of time never be?
Yet within such romance beyond which one should never have dreamt by design
Often within such discouraging word echoing still off often introspective resigned.
What has been lost realizing such foolish quandary desiring what will never be
Nevertheless, within such hovering shadows one searches for one reply inevitably.
As if within darkness where not even candlelight allows one to reflect such hope.
That would linger within the longing embrace needing a response to surely cope.
With the desperation, registered daily alone in the back of surely one's lonely mind
Where one still can reminisce once foolish eyes have found love by design
She's perfect-kind, beautiful, and devoted. Their love should be everything he's ever wanted. But something is missing. No matter how hard he tries, no matter how many times he tells himself that this is real, he can't forget her. The one who came before. The one he lost. The one who still lingers in his mind, in his dreams... in her.
Because every time he looks into her eyes, he catches a glimpse of us.
If only she could be more like her.
But love requires effort. A little patience. A little correction. And with time, she'll understand. She'll become everything he needs her to be.
Because this time, he won't lose her.
Not again.
