Welcome, traveler, to the land of Albahkhar. A land of mystery, wonder, adventure, romance, and dangers alike. Not everything you'll see is similar to the deserts of your own homeland. Snakes are as giant as horses, massive centipedes scurry the sands, rock golems venture the lands at night, and big bat creatures fly throughout the scorching yellow sky. And that is only the tip of the iceberg of Albahkhar, or more appropriately, the first few inches of the sand dunes. We'll be focusing on the story of a thief seeking enlightenment. Abandoned by his parents for an unknown reason, left in the streets to rot, and nurtured into a life of crime and thievery, Shaleem el-Khalil wanders the desert in search of fulfillment and treasure. This is no easy challenge, as he is wanted in nearly every city-state he's ever visited. Shaleem never understood this, as he only stole food to eat, occasional fresh clothes to hide in, and some money to get by. Alas, the states and their leaders have had it with this man's trickery and have sent guards all over the desert to capture him. To achieve ultimate power and freedom, he must find the Golden Scarab. A treasure so powerful and mighty that almost every empire on the planet searches it. But little did he know, he'd stumble upon a gem possibly even grander and one far less believable; the Genie's Lamp. Welcome, to the sands of Albahkhar!

Until her previous Commander appears, bringing the very news she never thought she would hear- that the only creature with the knowledge to break the curse is finally in their possession and willing to work with her. For years, this curse has prevented all of the creatures from accessing their powers. Without their power, they stand no chance of surviving against their greatest enemy, the fae, whose attacks seem to be growing more frequent and devastating. With Deimos, the only creature unaffected by the curse, in her possession, Mira finds herself negotiating the terms of a deal that are not nearly as harsh as they should be and spending her every waking moment catering to the most feared monster. An old school friend invites the protagonist to his home in Ghorka, Nepal. After a few months staying there, his friend returns for a while to England leaving Mark in Nepal. The world is hit by powerful solar storms which knock out everything electric. His friend, Sabin, has to return to Nepal come what may, so he begins a journey on foot across Europe, where he meets a fellow Nepalese, and they join company. Their journey is hastened when they are picked up by a Sikh pilot in a small plane returning to India. Taking advantage of lulls in the solar storms, they hop across the Middle East until they reach India. The plane cannot continue, so they split up on foot, with the pilot heading to his home, while the two Nepalese men head for theirs. At last Sabin finds himself in Kathmandu, where he leaves his friend and picks up a small packet of seeds from the Post Office. Shortly after, he arrives in Gorkha where his wife and Mark are waiting for him. No sooner has he rested, than a group of Tibetan monks arrive in the village carrying messages to the Dalai Lama in India. They also carry one for Sabin, from his uncle in a monastery near Mount Kailash. His uncle requests his presence, so Mark and Sabin leave on horseback and head into the Himalayas. After a long and arduous journey they arrive at the monastery, where the monk asks them to take a message to a monastery further north which is unknown to the Chinese, and not on any map. They set off into the mountains, and find themselves sheltering in a cave from a terrible snowstorm. Coming out of the cave in the morning, a group of unusual rescuers are waiting to take them to their destination. A walk through a tunnel in a mountain, leads them to a hidden valley of warm sunshine and green fields.

Dear Reader, I challenge you to a duel! Yes, exactly! Prepare for a battle. The battle for your heart and soul. I'm about to whisk you away and immerse you in a world brimming with magic and secrets. But fear not, on this adventure through the wilderness, you'll be accompanied by Klelia and... that's a surprise :)) Your task is simple. You have to survive... Are you ready to take up the challenge? "I'm dead. I died back in that hut. I don't exist anymore. And now, after everything that's happened, you want to talk?" I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "Who am I to you?" He closed the distance in an instant. I had nowhere to escape; there was a wall behind me, and he stood before me. "Are you really asking who you are to me, Klelia? You are my sun and moon. The source of my suffering and pleasure. My oxygen. I breathe you every day. Every second of life without you is worthless. Without you, there is no me. That's what you are to me. My private universe. I want to immerse myself in you. To lose myself." "I'm dangerous. At any moment, I could..." Tears welled up in my eyes. "I'm not like you." "You're no more dangerous than me," he interrupted, kissing me hungrily, as if he were desperate for air. P.S. Grab your best sword and cape. Despite appearances, desert nights can be cold.
