this book Is based on harry Potter time period. Tom is obviously not Voldemort. that didn't happen. but he still has dark desire in being all powerful and stuff. remember tom is incapable of love but I will change that. he will be very toxic and cold but then fall in love, but even when you date he will be toxic just not as much. this is slow burn. don't expect this to be all peaches and cream cause it's not
