Ava's eyes flutter shut, her forehead pressing against his chest at the question that rattled her bones and made her jaw clamp shut. Her eyebrows curling into themselves and her hands began to coat themselves in sweat, her heart thumping in her ears.

Does she? Does she truly feel safe with him?

Did she ever have the burning urge to run whenever he's stood behind her? Did she ever notice a darkness hiding itself behind the soft corners and gently stare of his eyes? Did she ever silently wish for a solution or question his loyalty to her?

I created this book with the intention to spread the word that it is never too late.
