May Reyes. 17 years old. Half Italian, half Puerto Rican. She spent her last years travelling between Milan, where she lives with her mother, and Brighton, where her father works.
Confident, indipendent and smartly quiet.

When she flies to Sydney, Australia, with her mom Evelyn Rana, she would have never thought that her new neighbour would be Luke Hemmings, from the band 5 Seconds of Summer.

She recognize him from the first day and he notices her as well, when she trips over some box. He helps her with the transfer and that's how they start talking and know eachother.

Through the days they develop a sort of friendship until they start feeling something more.
Luke becomes a solid figure in May's life, something she never had and she never thought she needed. And even if the boy has the whole world looking up to him, since he becomes close to May, she becomes his everything.

It all seem to be perfect, but as the time goes by things turn out really different.
.he is not really there.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
