one thousand words | draco x y/n

a picture paints a thousand words they say. so perhaps it would be sensible for me to think that i've been painted a villain. but are one thousand words ever enough to embody a whole breathing and living person? they seem to say yes; i would argue otherwise. but to pick out three words and strokes of colour, perhaps the most important qualities of all to every existing slytherin: pride, ambition, cunning. pride; a feeling of deep pleasure derived from one's own achievements. ambition; a strong desire to do or achieve something. cunning; having or showing skill in achieving one's ends by deceit. i may not be satisfied with the life i live but by no means am i lacking of the three words that have been brandished into my my mind and heart and soul by every person i have ever come across. if the palette paints me in black and grey and emerald green, void of the capacity to be blue or yellow or red, is that a fault of my own or of the artist's? i may seem to be the embodiment of evil itself but i cannot help it. in my mind there's blotches of blue for my sadness, splashes of yellow for my happiness, smudges of red for my hatred. a single picture you behold is never enough to show a person's true colours. but if you wish, even in world of sights to see, be blind. to you, i will always live in the lines of pride, ambition and cunning; i am nothing more. i'm draco malfoy and one thousand words is all i have.
