Coraline August Hayden-Gilmore is the daughter of Lorelai and Christopher, and the fracturnal twin sister of Rory. She spent her childhood, up to age fourteen living with her father in various countries until they decided Corey needed to have a proper education- so she was sent to live with her mother and sister. Through her time abroad with her father and grandparents (Francine and Straub), Corey was raised to be a societally perfect lady and has a good relationship with both sets of grandparents.
