It's Bonfire Night.

Half a millennium since a radicalised convert to Catholocism tried to destroy the British government with a bomb plot, the custom of remembrance - burning an effigy of the terrorist on a bonfire, playing dress-up and lighting silent fireworks, has spread to the North American Continent; now a very different place.

And Guy Fawkes night, well, that's become something different too.
