Prince Rionan has been raised to take the throne of the young Kingdom of Lycia by his brutal and pragmatic father and though he tries to live up to his fathers expectations he always seems to fall short. The only thing that has been constant in his life is his guard Asenya. She watches him with neutral expression but is always by his side, protecting his life while being fully ready to give up her own, but what happens when that dedication starts to grow into something more?

Follow them in this short story as emotions begin to shift while they try to save their kingdom.

***This is a short story that came to me after listening to music and having a dream, I wrote it in a way that if I wanted to write an actual book version of it, it would serve as a guideline in way, so if thinks feel rushed, that's why***
