Taiyo Kohima has powers other than their Pyro Vision and has no idea where these powers came from. Convinced that only one of The Seven could give them the answers that they seek, Taiyo joins Aether and Paimon on their journey across Teyvat. When the group reaches Liyue, Taiyo finds the answers to their questions, as well as the pair of blue eyes and fluffy orange hair that belongs to a certain Fatui Harbinger. The answers Taiyo finds and the feelings stirred by Childe cause Taiyo to question everything they've ever believed about the world and about themselves.

Things don't end in Liyue, as the journey across Teyvat continues things become more and more complicated as Taiyo begins to accept who and what they are. Long sleeping threats begin to awaken, seeking to use or take Taiyo's power, some even seek to kill Taiyo and any who protect them.
