Annie, the eldest of 3 boys, leaves her home to find a change of pace . . . And change finds her. The world ends and she knows nobody down in Georgia, but Annie gets inducted into a group of survivors.
Haunted both by her past and creatures roaming the world Annie has never felt more alone. Shes been thrust from a life of heartache into a life of loss and survival.

Survivors just like her, with stories and losses of their own. She soon becomes close to them, feeling like she has found another family, and she will do anything to protect them. This is a story of lost, love, survival, and surprises. The world doesn't care that you are alone, doesn't care if you're hungry, and doesn't care that death lurks around every corner. The undead feed on the living and the living can't be trusted. As the days pass and the world she knew was gone, she keeps a record of everything that has happened since first night. In a world where previous history is long forgotten, Kelley believes it is necessary to write down her journey and keep track of all things apocalyptic, so that maybe one day it will help others learn how to survive... and not make the same mistakes she has. Over the course of the 11 years of a normal life, Ford had he had been reported missing nearly 13 times and ran away from home, the longest span of time being 3 weeks, nearly a month. He's been out hunting with both his brothers. Normally hiding away in the woods until his brothers found him. Now having just turned twelve the young boy gets separated from his brothers, sees his father get killed, and desperate to find his brothers again. ----------------------------- CW!!! A few months after the 'End', Y/n eventually came across a lost little girl, and a group of survivors hurled up on a farm. She never was a people person and never got along too well with others, but she couldn't just abandon the girl. Would she find a home in this group? Would they become family?
