Redemption

I don't want anyone seeing Logan in me. I don't want that connection. The few people who know me know me as Akihiro, my foster parents' last name. It's fine by me. I'm sick of being 'Daken' or 'boy' or 'son'. I am not a boy or a son. I am only Daken, a name already well used.

Daken Akihiro is Wolverine's biological child. When he was a baby, his mother was killed by his father's enemy, Romulus. The new-born Daken was sent to foster parents, and grew up under Romulus' lie that Wolverine killed his mother. Bent on revenge, Daken goes after his father. Later, after a few fights and meetings, Wolverine finally overpowers Romulus and kills him. Wolverine beat Daken, and took away his claws. Now, the clawless Daken must make a life of his own without Romulus or his claws. Will it be to hard? Running out of Romulus' money and desperate to find a job, Daken meets another one of his father's enemy's, in the midst of a battle with the X-men. Caught in the middle of a mutant war, Daken is unsure of which side to turn to. Will he make his decision in time or will he face the consequences of the only metal that can kill his father and him?
