The Lantern (A Steven Universe Fanfiction)

Caelum has been wandering through a dark abyss for as long as he can remember, all the while holding a lantern with no flame. But when he finds himself in a new yet familiar world, the lantern ignites a new flame that grows brighter and stronger as he becomes closer with his new friends.

Yet no matter strong the flame grows, the void surrounding Caelum will always try to snuff it out. And as his light and darkness duke it out, he must defend his new home and friends from those that wish to bring them harm.

Caelum isn't sure how this will all play out, but one thing is certain: if he wants to make it through this, his lantern is going to need a bigger flame.

This is a Steven Universe isekai fanfiction, in which the main character is a fan of the series. I'm going to give a content warning here for potentially upsetting topics, but I won't say exactly what those topics are to avoid spoiling anything.

The Steven Universe series belongs to Rebecca Sugar. I only own Caelum and any other original characters that appear in the story.
