Sans the skeleton is a resident of Snowdin in the Underground, and life as he knows is mostly alright. He had his optimistic, egotistical brother, Papyrus, his mysterious friend in the RUINs, Grillby, the bartender at his favorite place to stay, and many other buddies and acquaintances he'd made over time. But one day, when the friend from the RUINs makes a strange request of Sans, he couldn't help but give her his word and make a promise. However... When he sees the subject of his promise exit the RUINs- A strange, wayward, dust-covered human- Sans questioned whether he'd be able to stay true to his word. (Feel free to leave suggestions for other stories you'd like me to write in the comments! None of the art featured here is mine.) UPDATE: Uh, so, my headcanons have changed quite a bit from when I wrote this, including Sans' attitude at some points, the Mettaton NEO situation, the Alphys evacuation, and other things. The life of the skelebros
The young skelebros escape from the core and head to Snowdin. Grillby finds them decides to take them in but finds out it may be much more difficult than he thought. Papyrus likes Grillby but it takes Sans some time before fully trusting him and even then there are things that he doesn't want to share. Although Sans struggles with his magic and with meeting new monsters. But, he's able to find some close friends when situations get rough. Ik my art is kinda weird but it was mostly just for fun. I'm definitely no artist. All art is still mine tho. I won't edit much here. Fully edited story on Archive of Our Own. Same name as here.

Fallen Under
Fallen Under is a full-length fan-novel of the game 'Undertale' set in 'Underfell'. This work will not have anything sexually explicit, though there is a (major) gore warning. It is light of heart, but some dark themes including suicide, abuse, and murder are explored. Mt. Ebott is famous for the woods that a child may wander into and never return. In legend, monsters snapped up children from villages, hid in dark corners, and ate the souls of the weak or unprepared. When a young child chooses to flee into the mountain rather than face human capture, they find out that these monsters might not just be characters in old children's stories. Frisk Foster, an eight-year-old child cursed by hereditary blindness, falls into a cavern full of merciless monsters, all of which want nothing more than to steal their soul. Armed with only their sense of justice and kindness, Frisk must travel across the underground to get back home. Yet when faced with the terrible truth of the consequence of their escape, can they truly find the will to complete their mission?
