Holly Davenport is new to the Valley, running away from her traumatic past to start a new life. Keeping her head down to get through the year is a harder task when you flinch at the slightest movement. Along the way she meets a boy who knows first hand what it can be like living in the Valley, but when he changes and makes a vow to keep her safe from his enemies and her own she begins to let her walls down.
