Grians sick, and the bad boys are very bad at taking care of sick people. The town mom steps up to take care of him after finding him in a creator. Her eldest son Scar seems to have taken a liking to the man.
Scar starts to remember, remember third life, he remembers how close he and Grian had been and wants that relationship back, he would do anything to get it back.
By some miracle (or curse) Grian sleeps through all of it.

After the third had been taken Zed noticed a shift in their friend impulse got incredibly quiet and more reserved. They never truly figured out what happened to their third nor did said Zed remember.
