Fullmetal Angel

When they transmuted their mother, so many years ago, Alphonse Elric blacked out. When he awoke, his brother was gone, leaving behind a terrifyingly large pool of blood. Not only did their transmutation to bring back their mother fail, but it took his older brother's life. An orphan, Al joined the military.

But the thing is, Edward Elric didn't die that night. Instead, he made a bargain with Truth. He'd return to Earth, and he'd get to watch over Al, but Al would never see him again. Edward would return to Earth as Truth's 'angel', a vigilante, taking the lives of the evil.

But after one close call, Ed's identity is compromised. What will the young angel-alchemist do?

(No romance for Ed in this story, I believe. Maybe later on, but for now, nothing.)
