Solo artist Jiyoon, publicly known as JiJi, was recently placed in a scandal that was not her fault. After winning an award for her comeback, fans got angry that she didn't thank her boyfriend at the time. She stated in interviews that their relationship was private, not wanting her or his fans to know that he was not a good boyfriend to her. Rumors broke out and her now ex boyfriend turned her fans against her. JiJi's company kicked her out and she was left to find a new place. Jiyoon found her way to Hybe, soon after that she came out with an apology and the truth.

During these dark moments, she became close to the boy groups Enhypen and Tomorrow X Together, along with the girl group Le Sserifim. She spent months working on writing her new album. JiJi didn't go out in public for those months. She spent this time regaining friendships and working on new relationships. Jiyoon became best friends with Enhypen Jungwon, but did he want more than a friendship?~
