Growing up Aria Young and her mother, Ja'Lynn Young, had moved around quite a bit so that Ja'Lynn could carry out her career of being a travel criminologist. But soon after she, as well as her daughter, became worn out from packing and moving so much. It had just become too much work.

Ja'Lynn had decided to stay in one house as well as travel when needed. She would leave for long periods of time leaving her only child home alone waiting patiently for her mother.

Aria had become vexed with her mother always leaving which changed the way she grew up. She raised herself pretty much and still succeeded studying in criminology just like her mother.

After realizing she would never get her mother's attention she assumed the only way to become close to her mother again was to follow in her footsteps so soon she could be traveling alongside her instead of being like the dog left when the family goes on vacation.

Let's just say... it did not work.

A campus thriller: suspense, murder & one handsome roommate. ***** When Haley Bell is offered a scholarship to study at the exclusive Woodcreek College, famous for moulding the world's brightest thinkers, politicians and entrepreneurs, she jumps at the opportunity. Except when she arrives, the murders start. In a campus hidden from civilisation in the mountains of Colorado, Haley's classmates are slowly turning up dead. As the bodies pile up and eyes of suspicion turn on her, Haley finds that there's a reason why she was brought to Woodcreek. And it wasn't to study.
