Fifth Year has rolled around for the Marauders at Hogwarts.
However, this year is a bit different because a certain Marauder; James Potter, has found himself in quite the puzzle
You see, James is stuck between Lily Evans, who he thought was the only one for him, and a certain dark haired Slytherin boy, one he never thought he would ever have anything to do with given that this particular Slytherin is a relative of his best friend. See this Slytherin is none other than Fourth Year Regulus Black. James had never seen anything in Regulus before but  this year is different. This year Regulus is...attractive.
Regulus, however, is not quite the same, see he does have feelings for James, he has done since he started Hogwarts but he had made peace with the fact that he would never compare to Lily Evans.
How will this story of theirs pan out in the end?

*I've fixed some minor details and did some light editing! Daphne Bardot, young French pureblood witch transferred to Hogwarts in her third year. After making friends with the infamous Marauders and the girls of Gryffindor, 5th year seems to take her on the wildest ride trying to navigate friends, love, and school. It gets a bit hard when the lines are blurred though. This story stakes place from 5th year to 7th year. Meanwhile, a new arrival in school has easily made friends with all her fellow Gryffindors... except Marlene: determined to befriend the newbie, Marlene insists on spending more and more time with her. There could be more to all these friendships, but with the stress of NEWTS and a potential war on the horizon, will love blossom, or is it too dangerous to keep loved ones close? Mainly Jily, but wolfstar and Marlene x fem!oc slowburn fluff as secondary love plot lines :)
