When piano prodigy Theseus Innes finds his mother dead in their tiny Logstedshire apartment after committing suicide, his entire world is torn apart. Suddenly, Tommy finds himself in the small town of L'Manburg, living with his mother's estranged brother and his family. The musically gifted teen struggles to find his place among a family who he didn't even know existed, trying to come to terms with his grief amid strangers. But when Tommy is saved by the owner of the local music store, Tommy begins to find solace among the instruments and records of Mellohi Music and maybe even begins the process of healing.
