Ashley Parkson has just experienced the heartbreak of her life. Caused by both her ex girlfriend and her unsupportive mother, she finds herself spiraling into a dark state and cannot find a way to get out. She soon starts her junior year and finds that there is a new guy, Elijah Cornell, at school and he has been assigned to sit across from her. Immediately intrigued, she makes it her goal to befriend this new boy, but she inevitably falls for him and she feels that all of her problems have been put on hold. Will he be able to help her feel whole again? Or be the reason that Ashley loses the only parts that she has left?
