We came a long way.
We drove every morning in the shuttle from home to our various offices
We devoted ourselves and families lives to God thru songs, prayers, and inspirational words
We have laughed & cried our heart out.
We shared whispers, gossips and smiles
We moved from one floors to another. Either for printing, delivering mails, making follow-ups, and meeting colleagues
We celebrate with diverse nationals' performance, culture and the kind of food they prepared
We interacted with people from around the world; some good; and some bad ones
Sometimes we did the job, but were ignored by those that wanted the glory.
You meet some very good colleague(s) , and when you start being closed to them, you receive "IT IS TIME TO LEAVE" The going of such person hurt so much, but when the Unknown Soldier is leaving, you wish he has left earlier
Now we have reached a point in our lives where future thought has finally arrives, and we have to forge our own way as we face our new lives after end of mission
Our time isn't up, it has just begun

"I have never done this before." he whispered while cupping her face. "Me too" she said looking at his eyes. "What? You... You have... I thought..." he stammered. Her eyes widened in realization of what he could have thought about her. "Don't tell me you also believed in the rumors our office talking about." she chided at him. "I... I am sorry. It didn't matter to me. And it doesn't matter what your past was. So I didn't take into consideration of other possible ways." he tried to explain his blunder mistake of touching her nerve. She shook her head at disappointment. "I thought you are different from others. But no. Even you also thought so low me. Just leave." she pointed her hand towards the door. "Please understand. I didn't mean it like that." he wanted to tell her why he thought like that. He never believed in rumors when he himself was victim of a gossiping group. "Whatever it is we will talk tomorrow. I want to be alone. "You told them you love me ,huh?" He asks with a raised eyebrows, jaw hardened and eyes narrowed at the shy girl he has hated all his life. She was afraid of his tone,he didn't looked happy with her confession. Was her love going to be unrequited one? "I fuck*** asked you something Ezra! Answer me!" His tone made her gulp,his grip on her arm made her flinch in fear. "Yes" She finally answered looking into his emotionless eyes. Smirking he laughed at her confession,not believing her. "Ezra,do you even know what love is,Oh I almost forgot you are an Orphan,how would you know?" His words were sharp as knife, piercing her healed wounds. She fisted her hands, trying to control her tears. He sighed in frustration running his hand through his hair. "Now mom will not stop till she has made you her daughter in law! Fu**! Why you!" He said ,pacing the room . Oblivion to the tears ,she tried her best to hide. He didn't love her. He never did, she was a fool to even think that he for once did. Hate is all he had for her and those who said hate is the beginning of love,were fools mocking her right now. Gathering the little pride left in her she answers back in a quivering voice. "Yes,I love you. But I don't want anything from you." She says and he stares.Confused at her weird confession. Who says that ? "Nothing you say? Are you playing some brain games girl?" She lowers her eyes and leaves but not before whispering the words that made him feel something after a very long time. "Love is not something to learn ,but to feel Aaron. And I know what I feel. Arjun roughly picked her up, carried her out of the bathroom, and threw her onto the bed. Siya was taken aback but didn't let fear show. Arjun hovered over her, his expression a mix of anger and determination. "Now I'll show you how much of a man I am." He said, smashing his lips against hers in a forceful kiss. Siya tried to push him away, but Arjun pinned both of her hands with one hand and held her cheeks with the other. -A Lie I decided to focus on family, choosing to believe and have faith that everything else would fall into place. I wasn't comfortable-or good-at lying to her. Reaching home, he called out "honey I am home ". After few seconds, two slim hands wrapped him from behind. The woman put her head on his back and said "you are late". He turn around and cupped her face and asked "am I? ". "yes, you promised to go shopping with me" she backed up and took the coat he removed. "wait for me. After a quick shower we can go to shopping", he kissed her cheek and went to upstairs. The man went to shower but his phone beeps non stop. BEEP..........BEEP......... she glanced at the phone and put it down. after shower he came to the girl and asked "who called me? " "Your wife", she answered looking straight to his eyes. James and Catherine started their journey together but their drive took a wrong turn. The people Catherine trusted were liars. They betrayed her. Please do like and comment.
