2740. A world rebuilt from nuclear war. A world inhabited by humans, humanoids, robots and anthropomorphic animals, (or furries if you like). They all live together as one. The anthros came to earth as refugees 635 years ago and have stayed there ever since. Humanity was capable of breeding with them, and therefore their species would thrive even further. However a few centuries later, war broke out between government forces and the ILF (international liberation front) which caused hundreds of millions of deaths. A large portion of the world became uninhabitable, but many years later, the world would thrive better than ever thanks to KORP, the company which rebuilt the world, and gave the people something to believe in. Humanity has fallen before the Anthro races. Twenty years of war has reduced the human population to drastically low numbers, severe enough to warrant the Anthro races to "reposition" their stance on humanity despite an almost fanatical unwillingness to surrender. Changing Times | A Human x Anthro story
As time passed, things changed. With the change, pain followed. This is a story of a man locked in the past full of teaching that he found to be flawed. Join Cael Adrian, a soldier that was apart of the North American Resistance Army, a group of freedom fighters who once tried to save the husk of a nation from an invading force, only to learn that they were behind on information. This story was greatly inspired by works like The Swan Song and A Man In A Beasts World. As will be mentioned in the foreword chapter, I am not a furry, though I have many friends who are. There will be many references in this story, most will be from works such as Call Of Duty, Escape From Tarkov, and STALKER, though there will be other references spread throughout. There will also be characters seen that are NOT owned by me, but rather are original characters made by friends of mine.
A Helping Hand
The leaves waving in the wind, birds singing their beautiful songs, the distant sound of water running through the forest. Living in a dense forest has been Jason's dream place to live since he was little. Although he lived on a farm in Nebraska. He enjoyed the outdoors, the only form of nature he got when living in Nebraska was when he visited the small forests near the Platte River and frequent visits to the Nebraska National Forests near the border of South Dakota. Jason has decided to move to the Chugach Forest within the state of Alaska. Jason has been living there for 2 years. Living deep in the forest but not too far from civilization, he has a good amount of privacy. One day, he decides to go out on a small camping trip to get some deer. On his trip, however, he runs into a pack of wolves, but not just any regular wolves, the group of them turned out to be anthropomorphic wolves, being able to shift into their anthro forms as well as their normal wolf forms. The wolves confront Jason and take him to their Alpha because he is living in their territory. Jason, not wanting to get on the wrong side of the pack, give the deer to them as a peace offering. The Alpha, considerate of Jason's kindness, offers a deal with him. Jason can stay in their territory but in return, he must help in their hunts. Follow Jason on his journey with these anthro wolves as he makes connections with the entire pack and becomes great friends with the Alpha. ' Until one day, a bounty hunting job leads him to discover something he was never meant to see. Documents proving that she, his ex-wife, the woman he still loves now, might still be alive. His obsession is reignited, and finally his life has a purpose beyond taking jobs to stay alive. But his discovery is not only his own. The people in power, the ones that had failed him so many times before, have decided that his discovery is theirs. Will his unofficial VDV training from Alexei, his lessons from the Zone, and experience in civilian division of the Latvian military be able to keep him alive long enough to discover where she's gone after all these years?
