Andromeda Gaunt, a direct descender of the famous Ominis and Artemis Gaunt, attends Hogwarts the same year the Boy Who Lived joined. It will be difficult befriending him, considering her distant relation to He Who Must Not Be Named, however, she's sure it's possible. She's always been told she's a sweet little girl, and even though she has complications with her sight, being blind in one eye due to a gene given to her by Ominis himself, Andromeda is known as an observant little girl, using her hearing more often instead of her sight.
Being a newly approved Slytherin didn't help the girl in befriending the "Golden Trio", however, when it is let out that Andromeda is a descendant of Salazar Slytherin, Harry immediately comes to her for information, and he discovers that this girl's mother might've known his father...
