If Only by Fate

Alex never really had much of a normal childhood, but she never minded. It was normal to her. She had been raised with an exterior of steel and walls infinitely high, never allowed to so much as crack if she wanted to survive. Taught that no one was to be trusted, outside of the few people she had known since birth. But, what if, she meets someone that tries to break those walls?

For the sake of this story, Holland does not exist. I swear I do respect and support their relationship, I just don't see her fitting into this fic.
