In this story, I found the lines of reality to be slightly blurred, with the convergence of different monsters that plagued the main character since childhood. As we all know, monsters come in many forms, shapes and sizes and I found this story to delve into that pretty deeply, for being so short in length. Whether real, or imaginative, monsters can be all around us. They infest our minds, creep in the shadows and can even be people that we see, or know personally. You might not always know where they come from, but that doesn't make them any less unsettling. This story also has an interesting way of making you never really feel safe. No matter how long our serenity lasts, or how bright the sun may shine upon you sometimes, Montellano's Monsters will remind you to keep looking over your shoulder. Just in case."

First of all, I do not own any characters within this book -- only a few minor characters are of my creation. The Creepypasta characters are all owned by their respective creators which do not include myself. It began with a nightmare: a sea of blood and mountains of corpses as far as the eye could see. Ever since then, nightmares have become reality. After your wishes for something interesting to happen in your life, it comes at a dire cost. You have been thrown into a war happening under the nose of every human in the world despite the lives of them all being at stake. There is no turning back. Peace does not last long. You are in a strange new world: a world where the strong eat the weaklings alive. The only comfort you have in this cruel world is a company of killers, manipulators, and beings of uncertain origins. How will you end this war? In blood? Or in love? P.S. The POV will be in 1st person. This is simply my preference when it comes to writing stories. Monsters are everywhere, but the human ones are the worst. At least the Creatures of the Night don't kid almost families, friends, neighbors, coworkers. Once reborn they live in the night. Sure, they do all of the same twisted things that humans do to one another, but they don't hide who they are. When you see them you know death is coming. You can predict the sick things they will do to you. But when the monster looks human, you're blindsided. One minute you're in love with a guy and the next he's slitting your throat. Trust me, I speak from experience. Gruesome things that use to make me sick now makes my stomach flutter in joy. I traded charming grins and blue eyes for carved smilies and orbs of onyx. I traded sunlight for the glow of the moon. I gave up living amongst humans for creatures of the night. And I wouldn't go back for anything in the world. I am finally home. I've spent so much time running from monsters that it's my turn to do the chasing. Sweet Dreams...
