Two weeks after defeating the Great Devourer, the ninja prepares Lloyd to become the Green Ninja. Their mission? To confront Lord Garmadon, Lloyd and Lucy's father, who seeks to thwart their destiny. Tension rises with the arrival of a boy from Lucy's past. He is determined to disrupt Lucy's budding relationship with Cole.

Lucy finds herself torn in a love triangle, forced to make a choice between the two boys. Complicating matters, she begins experiencing troubling visions connected to a dark element she struggles to control.
