The Voice | an original horror story

Flicking through different channels on the TV as you eat your food, you drop a small piece of it on the floor as you get up to clean your plate, you decide to kick it under the couch because you can't be bothered to pick it up. As you're walking over to the kitchen, you hear a very soft "thank you!" From under the grey couch.
